Be a Roman when in Rome
I always used to wonder about this statement but I have come to see it in a different light.
During my Travels, I have always felt comfortable in blending with the crowd and take into the culture of the place. And to try out different dishes of the place was something I liked doing!
And I enjoyed adhering to the rules of the place and I felt liberating to do that. I didn’t feel bound to the rules of the place, it is always best to be a Roman in Rome!
Traveling helps one to unwind and also helps to adapt to new changes, places, people etc.
I have learnt a lot from Travel and I have known what my Limitations are physically and emotionally and I will always keep learning.
The same goes with working in an organization; remember how we undergo an orientation session to get aligned with the company’s mission, vision, values, dress code, culture etc before we get to start working!
Well, embrace change and be open to new ideas, culture and that’s the way you move ahead to become a better human being.
