Is Minimalism the new norm?

Minimalism has become my way of life lately and I am totally loving it!

How did it happen?

Well, over the past 4 years when I had taken to working from home, I started declutter my wardrobe and then later other areas of my home.

But when I attended a residential program last year, we were asked to get hardly 8–10 sets of clothes and just the essentials. This turned out to be utterly amazing because I was spending less time in dressing up.

I found this be liberating and I felt a certain stillness within.

I incorporated the same things after coming back home.

Decluttered a whole lot of things; unused books, unused stuffs, old clothes, old utensils, old newspapers, old metal pieces, old wooden pieces. This entire process was so exhilarating that my Mother and I totally delved into clearing a lot of spaces.

The home feels more spacious and energetic.

Minimalism isn’t a one day or a one week thing, it is a continual process.

What do you feel about this?
